The American Rescue Plan Act
Signed into law by President Biden on March 11, 2021, the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) allocates $1.9 trillion to COVID-19 relief and economic recovery. North Carolina will directly receive more than $5.7 billion. These funds will be provided over two distributions. North Carolina has applied for these funds and anticipates receiving half of the distribution shortly and the second distribution in twelve (12) months.
